HSBC has structured and financed a $558m working capital package for the contractors who successfully tendered for the civil works and construction contract for Package D of Stage Two of Etihad Rail’s national railway network. With the working capital facilities now in place, construction on the railway line has begun. Etihad Rail Package D involves the construction of a 145km railway line connecting the ports of Fujairah and Khorfakkan to the pan-Emirates network at the Dubai border with Sharjah, opening up connections to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the UAE border with Saudi Arabia.

Saudi-based Al Murjan Group has reached an agreement with Mediclinic Middle East, a unit of British healthcare group Mediclinic International, for the setting up of a 200-bed hospital on a 80,000sqm area in Jeddah city. The hospital, designed and to be completed in accordance with international standards, will comprise eight floors, offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including general surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, emergency and trauma care.

Olivara Residences & Park is a cluster of four low-rise buildings comprising 250 units ranging from studios, oneand two-bedroom apartments plus a clubhouse and park.
The project combines functional spaces with distinct finishes and details, combined with outstanding amenities, fitness facilities, and excellent leasing rates. According to Palma Holdings, interior spaces within the project have been designed with large glass windows that bring abundant sunlight and extend park views into the living space.
Phase 1 of Olivara Residences is ready for move-in and open for viewings, with a number of unit types available for showcase. Meanwhile, Phase 2 of the project is under construction and will be ready by summer 2020.

The Ministry of Health wanted to increase local production of pharmaceutical industries to twenty percent of medicines used in Oman, by 2025. It produces only six percent of the medicines used in the country.
Costing a total of OMR25m to construct, the five factories will produce various drugs and patient kits required to provide urgent medical care to patients in hospitals and at homes. One factory will make intravenous and dialysis solutions. It is first of its kind in the Sultanate. The second factory is for the production of cancer drugs.
Another factory will produce pills, capsules and syrups. There will be a factory for the production of raw materials used in the pharmaceutical industry, and another for medical requirements such as injections. As part of the national efforts to tackle the coronavirus pandemic. They are continuously working with fast pace and transparency to deal with the new emerging challenges.

Scope of work will be the construction of a district cooling plant (DCP) located in International Media Production Zone, Dubai. The new DCP will hold a total capacity of 47,000 Refrigeration Tonnes (RT) to serve its customers in the locality. The plant is constructed as per international standards and seeks to achieve LEED Gold certification. The new plant will use the latest Chiller Technology, achieving unprecedented low KW/TR. Two Thermal Energy Storage (TES) tanks will be functioning in the plant; this technology helps to optimize the usage of on and off peak hours and thus saves energy efficiently. Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) technology will also be used in the plant operation, to save potable water and preserve resources for generations to come.
