YANMAR Appoints Vert Energy As Industrial Engine Distributor In South Africa

Almere, December 2020 - YANMAR, based in Japan and one of the largest manufacturers of diesel engines in the world, is pleased to announce that Vert Energy Group from Johannesburg, South Africa, will start official distributorship for YANMAR industrial engines in South Africa and neighbouring countries as of 1 January 2021, in succession to Prodist. Vert Energy will sell, service and support YANMAR engines and power products (genset/pumps) in several markets in South Africa, including agriculture, mining, climate control, construction and power generation.

Strong complement to product offering

YANMAR's extensive portfolio strongly complements Vert Energy's current offering for companies and OEMs in various industries. YANMAR’s L-series air-cooled diesel engines and TN-series water-cooled diesel engines are a valuable addition for the power generation and electro-mechanical power transmission industry.

Extended after-market service

Vert Energy is not only a strong sales company, but also has an excellent reputation for aftermarket service and support, both for genset manufacturers, and in agricultural, construction, mining and transportation sectors and industries. As an official YANMAR distributor they will provide 2nd-tier support to global OEM’s who integrate YANMAR Engines in their equipment.
