Komatsu Europe Announces New Mr‐5 Mini Excavators At Samoter 2020

Vilvoorde, February 2020 - Komatsu Europe International N.V. is pleased to confirm its participation to the 31st edition of Samoter, the international triennial earth-moving and building machinery exhibition, which will be held in Verona, Italy, from 16 to 20 May. Along with many leading products and technologies, among which the recently launched WB97S-8 Backhoe Loader, Komatsu will highlight the new PC18MR-5, PC22MR-5, PC26MR-5 and PC58MR-5 mini excavators, due for introduction to the European market in the second half of 2020.

Powerful and versatile, with the latest EU Stage V engines, this new generation of mini excavators harnesses 100 years of Komatsu technological knowhow and worldwide resources to bring unrivalled customer values to the sector.

The all-new MR-5 range builds on the hugely successful MR-3 product line, and additionally benefits from a full host of new and improved customer-focused features.

A seat belt indicator, an easily accessible secondary shut down switch and protected PPC levers makes these machines safe, both for the operator and for bystanders. The MR-5 range also benefits from Komatsu designed and developed factory-fit options such as fingertip proportional controls and a hydraulic quick coupler line to deliver flexibility, and ensure quality, reliability and performance day in and day out. The large ergonomically designed operating environment, with a wide seat, provides a comfortable and safe working place for any operator, whatever the job.
