At a private ceremony, Fahed Group Chairman H.E. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Fahed Al Thani adds his signature to MAN’s importer contract for marine engines.
MAN Engines now has yet another certified sales and service partner for marine engines in the port of Doha, the capital of Qatar. Qatar International Automobiles has long been a sales and service partner for MAN Truck & Bus’ trucks and a cornerstone of Doha’s automotive industry for more than 24 years. The expansion to marine engines enables MAN Engines to capitalise on the network of its partner, a subsidiary of the local Fahed Group, as well as their expertise in products and processes. Additional training sessions and continuous professional development for the partner’s employees will ensure that MAN Engines’ high demands in terms of sales and service quality will be guaranteed.
“We are creating added value for both current and future local customers on the basis of our existing, smooth-running collaboration with Qatar International Automobiles,” says Claus Benzler, Head of Marine MAN Engines. “We look forward to a successful working relationship and would like to thank our local business partners for their commitment.” As a strong partner in the maritime industry, MAN Engines offers operators of yachts and working boats easy access to more than 500 service partners at all major ports and hotspots around the globe.
