Hyundai CE’s 3.3-ton diesel engine forklift ordered in Algeria
Hyundai CE recently announced that it received an order for more than 100 forklifts, including 3.3-ton small- to mid-sized forklifts, from Algeria in Northwestern Africa. The order is attributed to the company’s strategic localized marketing campaigns given the contracted global construction equipment market due to COVID-19. Hyundai CE surpassed last year’s forklift sales in Algeria thanks to such order.
The company expects additional orders for construction equipment, such as excavators and forklifts, to meet the needs of local Algerian customers engaged in government-led infrastructure development.
Having entered the Algerian construction equipment market in 2005, Hyundai CE has built a powerful brand through proactive customer response and quick after-sales service and parts supply. According to Hyundai CE, they have been the leader in excavator sales in Algeria for more than ten years.
Hyundai CE is exporting construction equipment and industrial vehicles, such as excavators, wheel loaders, and forklifts, through its network of more than 540 agents and local units in 150 countries, including the United States, Europe, China, and India.
